Using IC card, you would not be bothered by small change (almost all buses will not give change to you) and save 60% traffic fee on bus (but not on the metro), and you can enjoy Chinese national treatment.
From No.1 Bus to No.599 Bus (including all trolley buses), put your IC card on the inductor, you will hear a voice of peep. No need to swipe IC card when you get off.
From No.601 Bus to No.999 Bus, there is also an inductor at the exit door, please remember swipe IC card before getting off, i.e., you should swipe twice on these buses.
